PI3P
PI3P = phosphatidylinositol(3)-phosphate
PI3P is a marker of the early endosome. Proteins which are able to bind to PI3P can thus be recruited to the early endosome.

Pinocytosis
Pinocytosis is often referred to as "cellular drinking". This is the internalisation of small molecules-fluid, solutes, parts of the plasma membrane etc through small pinocytic vesicles. Pinocytic vesicles are also called endocytic vesicles.
